Grid North True North

A line from any point on the earth's surface to the north pole. The best way to think about it is that in order to see the true north on a map we need to put the map on a ball, which will give a slight distortion of the grid lines, especially with high scales. Grid north is always the same direction everywhere on every flat map, but true north is not.
